Black History Month at GHS North

Local residents, Rodney Bunch, Jim Jacobs and Dwight White visited with Galesburg High School North students on Friday, February 14, 2020. Upon entering the Little Theater, students were given a sheet with over 30 different "menu" options. Each menu item, or title, was a brief description of a much bigger story.

Many students raised their hands eager to pick a title and learn more about that particular topic. Some of the titles that were selected included, NAACP, Two Beaches, 7,000 Babies, and Miss Poke.

The three men have made this a standing tradition at Galesburg High School North in recognition of Black History month for the past 4 years. Thank you, Mr. Bunch, Mr. Jacobs and Mr. White for spending your morning with the students and staff at Galesburg High School North!
