When a student graduates, college isn't the only option out there. Galesburg High School students had the opportunity to explore all the pathways in front of them after graduation at the annual College, Military, and Career Fair.
Representatives from local businesses, trades, and higher education institutions were available for the students to network with. They were also able to enjoy a lunch prepared by the GAVC Culinary Arts class.
According to Family Engagement Specialist, Stephanie Woodard, "We had an amazing turnout for our College, Military, and Career Fair today. The fair averaged about 350 students per period. We had over 60 colleges, programs, business partners, and military branches represented. The CMC Fair is a team effort each year and we are grateful to provide this opportunity to our high school students annually. Thank you to the administrators, GAVC, counseling staff, and custodial staff for helping make this happen!"
Superintendent Dr. Asplund and GJSHS Principal, Tom Hawkins, highlighted the event in the weekly video update from the District. Click here to watch!
