Although it is just the start of the winter season in Illinois, GHS sophomore, Alexandria Clark, is already preparing for her global travels next summer. Alexandria has been selected to participate in the Ambassadors of Music Tour which will take her to England, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria in June.
Alexandria is currently a percussionist playing the bass drum in the Silver Streaks Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, and Pep Band and was introduced to the Ambassador Music Tour by GHS Band Director, Dena Baity.
The trip will provide Alexandria with the opportunity to explore the five countries, and and also play at world-class performance venues throughout Europe.
