The Fish & Cheetah Rooms have been busy studying trees at Bright Futures! The Little Learners have investigated different types of trees, used their senses to observe parts of a tree including bark, leaves, roots, and branches, made leaf rubbings, and read about animals that live in trees.
This week was their favorite “tree topic”; they learned what grows on a tree. They observed some items that grow on trees, such as acorns, pinecones, bananas, avocados, and APPLES!
Today students worked together, followed a recipe, and made applesauce for their snack!
