Today, the Regional Office of Education for Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren County partnered with Nutrien Ag Solutions to host the 39th Annual Ken Russell Outdoor Education Day at Lake Storey in Galesburg.
Lombard Middle School fifth graders enjoyed a day filled with hands-on outdoor activities and engaging environmental education. With various stations led by dedicated volunteers, students explored important topics that fostered their connection to nature. This event is a wonderful tribute to Ken Russell’s legacy in promoting environmental awareness and education among our youth.
