Important dates to remember for Galesburg CUSD #205.
The Illinois Department of Public Health and Illinois State Board of Education have released updated quarantine and isolation guidance for PK-12 schools. Galesburg CUSD #205 will be adopting the new guidance effective immediately.
In most cases, isolation and quarantine periods have been reduced from 10 days to 5 days. Please click here to view the updated guidance or visit the CUSD #205 website, www.galesburg205.org.
We continue to ask parents and guardians to keep their students home if they are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19. This is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as the spread of other illnesses.

Due to the potential for extreme cold air temperatures tomorrow and forecasts from -15 to -28 combined with country road conditions, CUSD #205 will be closed on 1/7/22.

Due to white out conditions in rural areas, all Galesburg Community Schools will be closed today, January 5, 2022. Again, no school on Tuesday, January 5, 2022.
In the next few months, First Student Bus Service may periodically experience a driver shortage which may result in pick up and drop off delays and/or the combining of Bus Routes. Please check the CUSD #205 Website and Soical Media pages for daily updates to affected routes.
